Last night was the ward Halloween party. Actually It was just for the primary, but the youth were in charge of some of the activities. I was assigned to help with the monster lab. What we did for the monster lab is we went into the basement of the church and turn off the lights. We got a lamp and put a black light in it. The we got bags and put things in them that where meant to feel like gross things like body parts and inerds! Some of my favorites where the heart ( jello like stuff), the eye balls ( peeled grapes), dog poo ( mashed potatoes with cocoa powder),
tongues ( ham cut into a tongue shape), and maggots and worms ( wet rice with noodles in it).
So me and the other young men had to sit in the basement for an hour and a half to 2 hours with only 1 black light bulb for light, guiding people down the stairs and letting them put there hands in the bags. It was kinda fun though. Especially when the girls and the little kids cam down, because when they put there hand in the bags they would scream and pull there hand out.
Some people would touch some of them like the cockroaches, the dog poo, and the maggots and worms. And other people wouldn't touch any thing at all. So like I said It was kinda fun but after 2 hours of siting in the dark it got kinda boring. Well that's All I have to say about that.

Cody, You were so so so much help at the Halloween Carnival. I am very proud of you for doing all of the set-up and clean-up help without complaining. And then you were in charge of the monster lab all night and never left it, even when you were tired of it. Your spooky costume was perfect for running the lab. Landon and Vince looked great as well. Vince was a perfect mad scientist. The monster lab was the coolest part of the entire fair. Everyone was talking about it, including some of the people who thought that some of the yucky item might be real. (Of course none of them were.)

Cody. The monster lab sounds like a fun idea. I think I would have tried to put my hand in any of them except the dog poo. That's pretty icky.
